Needle felt on knitwear

Do you want to try your hand at needle-felting on knitwear? Then join this course, where you will learn about the possibilities of using needle felt as decoration and lapels on your knitwear. In the course you can see various examples of how you can use needle felt on your knitwear.

You will learn the basic principles behind it and how you can make it sustainable. Bring yourself some knitwear you can felt on, it can be machine knitted if you don't want to use your own home knit as a sample cloth. There will be wool to felt with in many different colors and equipment you can use. However, you are welcome to bring felt needles and pads yourself if you have one.

Needle felting equipment if you have it, otherwise you can borrow at the course
Knit to needle felt on — maybe knitting samples

**Homework before workshop: **

Prepare knitting samples on which you can needle felt.

**About the Educator: **

Your teacher is Lotte Denckert, who runs the small distribution company Plantefarveren.dk every day. Lotte's adventure in this magical world of natural colors began when she first dived into a dye pot with some cheap wool yarn from Rema 1000. The transformation that took place as the white yarn gradually became enveloped in the most beautiful colors was like magic unfolding before her eyes, magic created with her own hands.

Lotte's fascination with plants and colors has been an incessant source of joy over the past several years, and she can hardly stop coloring once she's at it. It was Lotte's aunt who first introduced her to the art of plant coloring, and her passion for colors, plants and wool rubbed off on her. Lotte loves the surprise and excitement that comes with every time you fish a new color out of the pot.
