**Description/body text: **

On this course you will not only learn the basic techniques behind Fair Isle knitting, but you will also be introduced to a more advanced method that will elevate your knitting work to a professional level.

Pernille Cordes will present you with the innovative “Ladderback Stitches” technique, a relatively new method that allows you to hide the long strands on the inside side.

This technique ensures that your knitwear looks even and uniform from the right side, while keeping the inside side neat and without loose threads. This means that you can effortlessly work with longer color shifts without affecting the visual expression of the front.

The course is ideal for those who want to improve your knitting techniques and gain more control over multicolour, allowing you to create beautiful and detailed designs that impress.

With Pernille's experienced guidance, you will get hands-on training and lots of tips on how to work with multicolour in an effective and beautiful way.

**Participants must bring: **

· 2 keys smooth wool yarn of different colors, suitable for stick 3½ or 4
· Circular needle 3½ and/or 4 of 80 cm.

Pernille Cordes is a knitting and crochet designer, author, teacher and proprietor of Englegarn, where she offers her own recipes and books. She is also the proprietor of the Knitting Academy, where she teaches knitters of all levels through her popular online courses.
