“Make your knitwear a statement!”

In this workshop we will explore the rebellious pattern world of chicken knitting

The composition of patterns and colours in the classic Hen knit will be taught and knitting techniques in multicoloured knitwear will be reviewed.

**Program: **

09:00 — 12:00: Workshop
12.30 — 14.00: Lunch at Schackenborg Slotskro

You will also have to work with color theory, so you will feel more confident in how to put together colors in your patterned knitwear, and gain an understanding of which colors complement and support each other best. The newfound knowledge and understanding about colors will be tested and challenged.

The workshop will provide a basic pattern for a smaller design, as well as diagrams from the colourful and iconic time period of the 70s.

Experience with multicolor is an advantage.

**Participants must bring: **

· Circular needle 40 cm — size 3,5/4 mm. If you can knit with Magic Loop technique, you can bring an 80/100 cm long circular needle in the same sizes.
· Yarn residues in several colors — preferably wool of the same thickness, corresponding to the size of the stick.
· Scissors
· Mask markers
· Pencil
