**Program: **
09.00 — 12.00: Workshop on the 1st floor of the Manor Stables
12.30 — 14.00: Lunch at Schackenborg Slotskro. Lunch also includes a short story about Schackenborg Castle
**Description/body text: **
This method is a variation of raglan, but with a beautiful, round sleeve dome that gives a professional and well-fitting result. One of the great advantages of the Contiguous method is that it is assembly-free and the whole work is knitted out in one piece — you don't have to stitch together!
Knitting from the top down gives you the freedom to adjust the length of both the body and sleeves, and with the Contiguous method you can achieve a perfect fit with beautiful shaping.
In this workshop you will learn the basic principles behind the method so that you will gain a deep understanding of construction. We knit a mini-model in which you will have the opportunity to work with shoulders, sleeve dome and armhole, so you will learn how to apply the technique in practice. Along the way, we use different inserts and cutouts that give your knitting projects elegant details.
You will learn:
The principles of the Contiguous method
Cutouts for the shoulder
Shaping sleeve dome
Arm Gap Inserts and Outlets
V-neck or round neck
Cardigan or sweater
