Learn to sun color

Dive into the fascinating world of sun coloring and learn how to dye yarn with natural plant colors! In this workshop you will discover how, with few paraphernalia and the sun (or the heat of the radiator), you can create beautiful and unique colors of yarn.

We go through the whole process from preparing the yarn to collecting plants and dyeing. You will gain hands-on experience experimenting with different plants and learn techniques to achieve the best colors. Come and join us for an inspiring color experience.

There is a material price of 100 DKK, which covers yarn and plant materials. Paid to the teacher at the start of the workshop.

**About the Educator: **

Your teacher is Lotte Denckert, who runs the small distribution company Plantefarveren.dk every day. Lotte's adventure in this magical world of natural colors began when she first dived into a dye pot with some cheap wool yarn from Rema 1000. The transformation that took place as the white yarn gradually became enveloped in the most beautiful colors was like magic unfolding before her eyes, magic created with her own hands.

Lotte's fascination with plants and colors has been an incessant source of joy over the past several years, and she can hardly stop coloring once she's at it. It was Lotte's aunt who first introduced her to the art of plant coloring, and her passion for colors, plants and wool rubbed off on her. Lotte loves the surprise and excitement that comes with every time you fish a new color out of the pot.
