Get started with leftover yarn!

A different workshop where you get a push towards leftover projects and renewed inspiration on how you can use your leftovers.

We, Nanna and Matilde, together with others love to knit with scraps, in different qualities, colors and thicknesses. For this workshop, you will be taught different methods of using leftover yarn. You will get (a little) out of your comfort zone in terms of color choices and yarn qualities, and we will try to make it easier to knit with leftovers.

In addition, we will take some of our projects knitted in leftover yarn as inspiration. After the workshop, you will have more courage and confidence to throw yourself into a residual project. All participants will receive one Garn & Glimmer recipe.

Our workshop is for everyone regardless of level, however it is an advantage that you can knit.

**About the Educator: **

Matilde and Nanna call themselves “A Colourful Friendship”. They have the podcast “GARN&GLIMMER” on YouTube, where through videos they have created an online knitting community and share their love for knitwear and colors.

Matilde and Nanna love to knit with colors and leftover yarns, and to discover new designers that not everyone knows. They have a different approach to knitting than the “classic”, as everything doesn't have to be perfect, and they appreciate the small flaws that make our projects unique.

The love for leftover yarns and colours is also reflected in their knitting patterns, and their ambition is for them to be fun to knit. That's why they encourage you to knit in colors you love and maybe explore your own yarn warehouse. The main thing is to be happy with the project and look forward to the finished result.

“Our goal with our online community is to get more people to knit and contribute to new knitting communities. We ourselves have experienced how knitting has helped us through both the good and the less good times. Knit has brought us, *Nanna and Matilde, * together, and we're eternally grateful for that. We want to try to pass that on to others.”
