The patterns are based on unique diagrams, which can be complex and often contain special knitting symbols that may be new to many.

In this master class, Pernille teaches you how to read and understand these diagrams, and you will gain insight into how to work with the specific symbols that are part of Japanese knitting.

Once you have mastered the symbols, you can choose a pattern that you want to knit. All of the patterns are incredibly beautiful and allow you to challenge yourself on different levels — from more simple patterns to those that require a little extra technique and experience.

**Participants must bring: **

· 50 g. smooth merino wool for stick 3 or 3½
· Round stick 3 and/or 3½
· Stick for twists
