**Description/body text: **

We begin with a quiet walk in the area. At a leisurely pace, we move through the landscape, directing our attention to what surrounds us: the sounds of the birds and the wind, the colors of the sky, the smell of sea and earth. Through simple bodily exercises, we work to listen, see, smell and feel — and leave room for silence and reflection.

When dusk falls, we gather in unison with the knitwear. Here the hands are allowed to work quietly, and the knitting becomes an anchor for attention — a rhythmic needlework that can create tranquility, immersion and cohesion.

The workshop does not require you to be an experienced knitter. The most important thing is the desire to be present in nature, in the community and to experience what knitting also gives you from inner peace and presence.

We look forward to sharing an evocative moment at the Wadden Sea, where nature, senses and needlework meet in the twilight.

There will be served a little to warm your fingers on.

**Participants must bring: **

Bring clothes according to the weather and a seat cushion plus a knitting sample of about 30 stitches and 6 needles. We will continue to knit the knitting sample on and “play” with outside, so the pattern and yarn are not important, but that it may have to be discarded afterwards.

**About the educator: **

Anne-Mette is a trained Art Therapist from the Department of Art Therapy. As a therapist, she works a lot with nature as her focal point. But she is also fond of the many possibilities of art therapy with creative ways of expression.

Originally a trained teacher, Anne-Mette has worked in primary school, at production school and junior high school. Her work in the field of older people confirms the importance of the fact that we are all different, and that is where the starting point should be. Anne-Mette likes to set processes in motion and experiences a good dynamic with team teaching.
