“Nolde — the line — me” —” transition”

In her project “Nolde - - mig”, Hanne B. Sønnichsen (also known as Hanne i Højer has reached the last section “me”, which is subtitled: “transition”.

“Transition” can be interpreted in several ways - both in concrete terms but also in a more abstract way.

At the workshop we will deal with transitions in knitwear - transition in the context of technique, material and color. We test different solutions and evaluate the results - what can be used where?

Along the way, I'll tell you about my thoughts and plans regarding the “transition”. In 2026, I can look back on 40 years in Højer and 47 years with textiles as the central focal point.

**About the Educator: **

Hanne i Højer (Hanne B. Sönnichsen) is an acclaimed artisan who has run a gallery, weaving shop and shop in Højer since 1990. She is known for her work with wool, weaving, knit design and fur sewing, inspired by the nearby Wadden Sea nature, culture and art.

Hannes shop and gallery are just five minutes' walk from Masks i Marsken and are definitely worth a visit during the weekend - or the rest of the year.
